Monochromatic Look

In Kat's lesson we created a monochromatic look.

For my look I used Kryolan and Illamasqua products. I matched my partners natural skin tone using Illamasqua skin base in white and Kryolan ultra foundations. I then set this all with Illamasqua translucent loose powder. I used purple, lilac and a peach colour for the eyes. I also blended the lilac very lightly under the lash line to give the bottom lashes some definition. I kept my partners brows very natural with just a few strokes of a mac eyebrow pencil in her matching colour just where there was any sparse areas. I contoured with the lilac colour from Kryolan into the hollows of Hannah's cheeks, her forehead and her jaw. I then finished this look with a mix of purples from the supra colour palette for the lips.

I would change a few things about this look, I would make everything bolder as I think this is a new beauty look but I was actually going for more of a dramatic look when I began this. I would make the lips slightly less pink and more of a purple shade. I also would have preferred the lips matte instead, I would just dust a small amount of Illamasqua translucent loose powder over them.

I think I would want to finish this look off with some false lashes and some dramatic black liner.
